MGK Introduces BP-100 Plus™ for Broad-Spectrum Insect Control

Minneapolis, MN — Leading insecticide manufacturer MGK is excited to announce the launch of BP-100 Plus™ Fogging Concentrate, an oil-based insecticide formulation designed to deliver broad-spectrum control of both adult and immature insects.

BP-100 Plus is an enhanced oil-based formulation that targets multiple life stages and controls more than 70 insects

Built on the proven performance of ULD® BP-100 Contact Insecticide II, this enhanced formula combines pyrethrins for flushing, knockdown and kill of adult insects with piperonyl butoxide (PBO), which increases effectiveness by inhibiting detoxification enzymes that resistant insects use to break down insecticides. The addition of NyGuard® IGR targets immature insects by disrupting development and preventing them from reaching adulthood, helping break the insect life cycle. Together, these active ingredients deliver multiple modes of action to control more than 70 insects, including flies, lice, cockroaches and stored product pests.

Labeled for indoor and outdoor use, including food and non-food areas, on and over poultry and horses

Oil-based formulations, such as BP-100 Plus, produce a denser fog with longer suspension time than water-based concentrates, improving overall coverage. In livestock environments, the oil-based formulation also promotes better adhesion to animal hides and feathers. BP-100 Plus can be applied neat (undiluted) or diluted with oil as needed.
