In the general sense, Exponent increases the insecticide’s efficacy by reducing the insect’s ability to detoxify itself, which increases the speed and likelihood of kill. In the technical sense, Exponent inhibits P450 detoxification enzymes within the insect’s metabolic system. Including Exponent in a solution with adulticides fights insecticide resistance in insect populations.
Exponent is effective on a broad list of insects, including both flying and crawling species.
There is no reason to use Exponent without an insecticide as there will be no effects on insects.
