EverGreen® 5-25 Aqua ULV is a water-based contact insecticide designed for mosquito abatement agencies to control mosquitoes. Labeled for aerial or ground ULV applications, EverGreen Aqua combines botanically based pyrethrins with piperonyl butoxide to kill mosquitoes on contact.

For use only by Federal, State, Tribal or local government officials responsible for public health, vector control or certified applicators.

EverGreen 5-25 Aqua ULV has been approved by the EPA and is pending state registrations.

How many active ingredients are in EverGreen® Aqua?

EverGreen® 5-25 Aqua ULV contains two active ingredients:

Piperonyl butoxide (PBO) fights metabolic resistance

How does Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO) fight metabolic resistance and enhance insecticide efficacy?

To have a lethal effect, the active ingredient in an insecticide needs to reach its target site within the insect. Resistant insects commonly have a heightened defense mechanism, cytochrome P450 enzymes, that attack insecticides. PBO binds to these detoxification enzymes, allowing the insecticide to reach its target site and work more effectively.
